You can reconnect with horses and nature through our Trail Ride Experience at Double C Ranch. This two-hour adventure begins in the barn, where you’ll brush and groom your horse, learning simple ways to build trust and connection. With guidance, you’ll tack up and spend a few minutes in the arena for a mini lesson, designed to help you and your horse get comfortable together. Then, enjoy a relaxed trail ride across 250 acres of scenic Blue Ridge farmland and wooded paths.
Riders for trail rides need to be at least 12 years of age, at least 4’10” tall and less than 250 lbs. We do offer riding lessons for younger riders.
Please note: We can accept reschedules of the trail ride with 48 hours advance notice. No-shows or cancellations with less than 48hrs notice will be charged the full price.
