About Double C Ranch

Hello! My name is Christine, and I am a certified riding instructor from Germany with a deep passion for teaching and training horses. My journey with horses began in Schweinfurt, Bavaria, where I managed a large barn, teaching around 90 students weekly, ranging from 5-year-old beginners to adults. My lessons included everything from jumping and dressage to group trail rides.

Before starting my own riding school, I gained invaluable experience working at several prestigious barns in Germany, specializing in reining, jumping, dressage, and eventing. I also competed extensively in these disciplines, honing my skills and knowledge.

One of my proudest achievements was training and certifying my own horse in jumping and dressage in Germany—a testament to my dedication and expertise. In 2009, I moved to the US and brought my beloved Bavarian Warmblood mare with me. Although she passed away in 2020, her legacy lives on in the work I do today.

On my small ranch, I now own a few German Warmbloods (with prestigious bloodlines such as Rubinstein, Stakkato, and Moorlands Totilas) and a small herd of American Quarter Horses bred for cutting, reining, and ranch work. This means I often have the pleasure of starting colts and training them from a young age.

Since arriving in the US, I've worked for a cutting horse breeder, started young horses, and retrained older ones. My experience spans a wide range of disciplines, including dressage, jumping, eventing, cutting, reining, barrels, roping, sorting, team penning, trail riding, cowboy races, and ranch management. At one point, I even managed three ranches simultaneously.

Despite my varied experiences, my absolute passion lies in teaching children and training young horses. This passion is what drove me to restart my Riding School in the US, where I can share my knowledge and love for horses with the next generation.
